In February Abigail Willis came to talk to us about ‘Amazing Garden Innovations’. Surprisingly her oration did not feature that funny little bit of wire which you always use to hang up the thermometer next to the door in the greenhouse (perhaps there is a commercial future for that particular invention), but instead Abigail focussed on sharing some of the innovations and ideas that have transformed our gardens over the centuries and which influence the way we garden today.
